Two of the Mentors representing the team as they received the Anita Neville Volunteer Award in 2008

Positive Alternatives for Youth Mentors were awarded the Anita Neville Volunteer Recognition Award on May 25th. The award was is “given to those people that through their donation of time, determination and dedication have made a real difference in the live of their fellow citizens and the community as a whole”

Two Mentors attended the award ceremony held at the Cabota Centre, where one Mentor spoke about her experience volunteering in the program and about the youth that we work with.

On behalf of the Management, Employees and Board of MYS, we would like to thank Anita Neville for helping us to continue to grow futures for Manitoba youth, families and communities.
