MYS is proud to announce that employees from Tiber River Naturals are sponsoring the “Food for a Day” campaign from July 16, 2009 until July 24, 2009. The beginning of the sponsorship coincides with the opening of a new Tiber River Naturals location on Kenaston. The 9-day donation came from the “Tiber Girls”, who collected tips and donated them to Macdonald Youth Services to provide food for the Youth Emergency Shelter.
Thanks to the support of the “Tiber Girls”, the “Food for a Day” campaign has surpassed the 1 month mark! Currently 37 days have been sponsored with the contributions allowing MYS to direct funds from the food budget toward other important services, including counseling and other supports.
